Atelier Robert Doinseau was a french photographer who died in 1994, and specialized in photographing happenings on the streets of Paris. He grew up in a conventional middle class family in a suburb of Paris and began his art career designing artwork on drug labels at the age of 15. When he died, he left over 450,000 negatives in his suburban Paris flat, all of which have been preserved.
